Abstract
Retooling a Mattress Web Shop
Scope of work

This particular project involved updating an already successful online retailers website. Their key concerns were lowering their bounce rate, protecting their SEO, ease of shopping, and the ease of administration. By developing a new look for their site we were able to reduce their bounce rate from 60% to an almost unheard of 20%. By carefully indexing their old site we were able to preserve page structure and not break old links to the site, which would have adversely affected their rank on google.

We also created a custom product page for them geared toward the unique sizing and price requirements of the mattress industry. This let a customer pick all of the necessary options for a bed, boxspring, and frame on a single page and was a considerable improvement over their old checkout process. Finally we provided several training sessions to the company on how to use the backend of their system as well developed some custom modules that were designed for their unique situation.
